Firestone Red Label Extreme Duty Air Spring kits are designed to give your vehicle extra support over a standard Ride-Rite kit. Rated at up to 7,500 lbs. load carrying capabilities, Firestone Red Label Extreme Duty Air Spring kits feature stronger brackets over the standard Ride-Rite kit, commercial grade rubber, stronger nuts and bolts and a 150 psi operating pressure. These upgrades provide superior load support and towing and are perfect for slide out campers, loaded trailers and boats.

Firestone Red Label Extreme Duty Air Springs mount between the frame and suspension to provide load support through the use of air pressure to adjust for changing loads.

What is the difference in Red Label 2700 kit vs the 2702 kit? Price of 2700 is $527 - 2702 kit is considerably more - thanks - Wayne

The 2700 and 2702 are rated at the same capacity but have different components. The main difference is the upper, lower brackets and air springs are different.

Do the Firestone red label air springs for the Chevy 2500HD kit have internal bump stops? With the removal of the factory bump stop I am concerned about harsh impacts on the truck. I had a set of regular helper springs on Toyota Tacome that did the same thing and the ride was terrible when they bottomed out metal to metal due to the bump stop being eliminated.

The Red Label Firestone kits do not have a bump stop internally built into the bag. Air lift does produce the Load Lifter 5000 Ultimate kits which have a built in bump stop but they have a weight capacity of 5,000 lbs. The internal bump stop is used to protect the air spring if it is run without air. If the air pressure is maintained at the correct level for the load, the air bag should not bottom out.

Firestone Red Label kit 2702 will not work on a Sierra 1500. It is designed specifically for 2500 and 3500 Silverado and Sierra trucks. Firestone Ride-Rite kit 2430 is designed for a 2016 GMC 1500 4x4.

Firestone warrants its HD Air Spring products against defects in workmanship or material for a period of 2 years.

What this warranty does not cover

Damage from accidents, corrosion, improper installation, incorrect applications, overloading, and custom applications that are not specified under the OEM cross references. This warranty does not cover loss of freight, loss of profit, equipment, or personal downtime.
